CHRIST’S  GREAT  LOVE

“Greater love hath no man than this.”

What more, Lord, could I want or wish?

Than, “that a man lay down his life.”

For friend or loved one, child or wife.

 

But your great love was given free,

When I was still your enemy.

But, thank you Lord for words so true,

That brought me into love with you.

 

Beyond all measure or degree,

You gave your all on Calvary.

Now all I have I give to Thee,

Of this I’ll sing eternally.

 

Such great love now fills my heart.

And from Thy side I’ll not depart.

I’ll walk with Thee and show Thy love.

Until I reach my home above.
