Matthew 6:14-15

Oh, how free our hearts can live,

When we practice to forgive.

It’s not hard when we recall,

God our Father forgave us all.

 

The sins that brought Christ to the cross,

The sins sometimes we like to gloss.

“My sins, not as bad as you.”

And yet Christ died for those sins too.

 

When we judge their sins as gross,

We better look at our sins close.

Here’s the truth that I must cry.

“There but for God’s grace go I.”
