HIS  AMAZING  GRACE

Hear it sung by saint and sinner.

“Amazing Grace, How Sweet The Sound”

Though into His grace, all may enter.

Yet by few this grace is found.

 

Many try to earn it by merit

God’s great grace of sins forgiven.

We do not earn what we inherit,

By new birth we enter heaven.

 

Not by a birth of mortal men,

But by the birth that’s from above,

The one is dead through shame and sin.

The other given by God’s own love.

 

So of this grace of which we sing,

You may receive from God’s own hand.

Not by our works that we may bring,

His work alone makes us to stand.
