STUDY GOD’S WORD

119:18 &27
Before you open
up God’s word
Let this prayer
to Him be heard.
“Open thou my
blinded eyes,”
Thy wondrous
truths to scrutinize.
Truths I’ve
never seen before.
A closer walk
with Thee restore.
Help me
understand Thy law,
That I may
speak of it in awe.”
The Spirit is our
guide to truth.
Whether aged or a
youth.
This gift of God
resides within,
As teacher, guide
and constant friend.
No greater One
than He you’ll find,
To teach the
hungry searching mind.
If with this
prayer His word you sup,
You’ll find your
eyes He’ll open up.
