JOY  IN  THE  GOD  OF  SALVATION

Habakkuk 3:10

Here’s a verse that truly needs our application.

“I will joy in the God of my salvation.”

Do we worship Him with praise?

Does His joy fill all our days?

Do we honor Him as God of all creation?

 

Are our songs filled with the joy of our elation?

Are we glad when we can join the congregation?

Does the love of God show through?

Do we slump down in the pew?

Does excitement show from our anticipation?

 

Are we only there because of obligation?

Do we count the minutes till the invitation?

Does our heart fill with acclaim

At the hearing of Christ’s name?

“I will joy in the God of my salvation.”
