I Corinthians 10:13 “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man:

but God is faithful .who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able:

but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”

Often we feel we are different.  “No one has the problems I do.”

“No one has faced this before me.”  This is the wrong point of view.

Listen to the wisdom of God.  Here is His method and plan.

“No temptation hath taken you but such is as common to man.”

We may be faced with temptations but others have faced them before.

God will provide you an exit.  So trust Him, there’ll be a back door.

Too often we do not look closely to find out the way we can win.

We follow our wants and desires.  That’s when we fall into sin.

The question to ask in temptation, which way will honor my God?

The other way, if you look closely is outright and terribly flawed.

One maybe plays to our ego or tickles our fancy and pride.

One will give praise to the Savior.  In this He will be glorified.

We’re never alone in temptation.  He promised to be by our side.

If we hide His words in our hearts, He’ll be our companion and guide.

Don’t listen to Satan’s enticement, to think that this problem’s brand new.

Others have faced it before you.  I know by God’s grace you’ll win too.
