OUR  HOPE

OUR HOPE is not a wishful dream

Of things not now, or things not seen.

With confidence that will endure,

The promises of God are sure.

 

OUR HOPE is of eternal life,

Though all around is fear and strife.

The promises of God are true.

We need not look for something new.

 

OUR HOPE is in the God of grace.

For by His blood, our sins erase.

And now we’re held eternally,

For Jesus paid it all for me.

 

OUR HOPE, with confidence is held.

But not in self, lest pride had swelled.

For in my self, my hope is naught.

But in the God who changes not.
