RECONCILIATION
By Rev. Dean
Beaty 2/23/08
Oh what a joy to
be reconciled.
Returned to God
when I was exiled.
Cast far away
because of my sin.
Before His throne
I now enter in.
Not on my own this treasure return.
It was alone, my
Savior’s concern.
He paid the price
to reconcile me.
By His shed blood
on Calvary’s tree.
All of my works
would just take away
From His
sacrifice made on that day.
Which would you
choose in heaven to bring,
Old filthy rags
or gifts of a King?
Jesus’ shed blood
is my only hope.
Is it your own?
How else will you cope?
It can be yours.
It’s not a hard task.
Simply kneel down
and then humbly ask.
