REHEARSAL  FOR  HEAVEN

Each day we should be growing in God’s love and grace.

Until we stand before Him and see Him face to face.

Life is a rehearsal for when we meet the Lord.

And join in heavenly chorus to God by all adored.

Is your heart more ready today than yesterday?

Do you know Christ better, are you making good headway?

Are you walking closer in His way and in His will?

Or just going through the motion on a spiritual treadmill?

Life has real purpose.  Spend it wisely for God’s gain,

Working in the harvest to reap God’s golden grain.

Remember, life’s a rehearsal for when we meet the Lord.

Will you on that judgment day receive a full reward?
