Romans 8:18  “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”

The suffering now in this present life is certainly not really rare,

But the joy that yet awaits us, is much greater beyond compare.

The glory that He has prepared is more than ever we could know.

More than we can ask or think to His own then He will bestow.

Oh what a gracious redeemer, who gives in abundance and grace.

Light for the pathway ahead and strength to finish life’s race.

There’s joy for each day o’erflowing and more a song in the night.

Forever secure in His hands, there kept by His power and might.

Nothing in this world or other, can separate us from His care,

We will enjoy forever, a home He has gone to prepare.

Certainly soon there is coming, a shout and a trumpet will blast.

Then will appear our great Savior, His face we will then see at last.

Don’t let the trials of suffering that comes upon all who live here,

Cause you to cease in rejoicing or cause you to worry or fear.

Go to the great throne of mercy, for unto a Father we call.

Trust in the love of the Father who sees even sparrows that fall.
