What’s So Special About New Years?

What’s so special about New Year’s day?

In just a few hours it all passes away.

I know it symbolizes a fresh clean start.

But that’s no good without a new heart.

 

Each day with the Lord is new and alive

That’s a new start three-sixty-five.

That way our lives are new, fresh, and clear

And not only just one day of the year.

 

God says, His mercies are new every day.

And that His presence will not pass away.

Each day with the Lord we can start anew,

So one day a year is simply too few.
