God Will Not Forget

Isaiah 49:15

“Can a woman forget her suckling child?”

That little one so meek and mild.

The answer of course is naturally, no.

And yet God says that is not so.

 

Her mind may slip and she forget.

But God will not, so do not fret.

We’re always in His constant care.

He knows the numbers of our hair.

 

He also knows what lies ahead.

The things we face with fear and dread.

And since God knows and cares for you,

His love will also see you through.

 

So as this earthly path we trod,

Our faith and trust must be in God.

He proved His love through His own Son.

So don’t despair, the victory’s won.
