MY SAVIOR’S GRACE
By Rev. Dean
Beaty 6/6/05
If I could live
ten thousand years,
And fill the
oceans with my tears.
With righteous
deeds, my sins replace,
I could not earn
my Savior’s grace.
But now I’m saved
by grace alone.
My deeds could
not for sins atone.
And now I know
I’ll see His face,
For I’ve received
the Savior’s grace.
If every word
through untold days,
Were lifted up in
endless praise.
These works would
not my sin efface.
I must receive
the Savior’s grace.
By God’s great
grace the pardon’s free.
My debt was paid
on Calvary.
This wondrous
truth I now embrace,
As I receive my Savior’s grace.
My righteousness,
a filthy rag.
I had no good for
which to brag.
Condemned with
all of Adam’s race,
‘Till I received
my Savior’s grace.
I’m saved, I’m
saved by grace alone.
My deeds could
not for sins atone.
My sins are gone
without a trace,
For I’ve received
the Savior’s grace.
His blood was
shed on Calvary.
He died to set
the sinner free.
Your sin and
shame, He will erase,
If you’ll receive
my Savior’s grace.
Your deeds cannot
for sin atone.
You can be saved
by grace alone.
If you would see Christ Jesus face,
You must receive
the Savior’s grace.
