THAT  I  MAY  KNOW  HIM

Lord, that I may know Thee with head and heart and soul.

That I may love Thee fully Lord, that’s my greatest goal.

For now with earthly wisdom the scope of which is small.

But then when face to face, Thou wilt reveal it all.

 

Lord, as I love Thee now with wisdom so finite.

My heart will surely burst when Thou art full in sight.

Lord, till that day has come and I see all things clear.

Teach me from Thy word and draw me ever near.

 

Lord, that I may know Thee with head and heart and soul.

That of my many parts Lord Thou might have the whole.

Surrendered to Thy love, Thy sacrifice complete.

Obediently I bow to Thee and worship at Thy feet.
