THE SAVIOR
IS RISEN
By Rev. Dean
Beaty 3/22/06
With fear and
trembling Mary went to the tomb.
Three days had
now passed with sorrow and gloom.
The tomb was now
empty but a message was given.
The angel assured
them that Jesus was risen.
“Why seek ye
the living among the dead?
He is not
here. Just recall what He said.
Come see the
place where the Lord Jesus lay.”
They then left
rejoicing as they went on their way.
The good news was
given to Peter and John.
The angel assured
them that Jesus was gone.
“Come see the
place where the Savior was laid.
He goes before
you. Do not be afraid.”
Jesus the Savior
is risen from the dead.
He arose the
third day just as He said.
The grave has no
victory. Death has no sting.
The grave could
not hold the creator and King.
The Savior is
risen from out of the tomb.
Let not your
heart then be fill with gloom.
The grave has no
victory. Death has no sting.
The grave could
not hold our great Savior and King.
