“YE  SHALL  BE  FREE  INDEED”

Men seek for truths that lift the soul.  On this we are agreed.

The promises in the Word of God are heaven guaranteed.

Here’s a promise to count on. It’s better than a creed.

“If the Son shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”

 

Men fight wars for freedom and sometimes it is obtained.

Some in prison are set free, loosed from where they’re chained.

But spiritual and physical are vastly different things.

Freed on earth but bound in sin, not knowing the King of Kings.

 

Notice how this truth begins, “IF” the very first word.

All roads do not lead to Rome.  In this thing they have erred

“I am the way, the truth, the life.”  There is no other way!

There is no other sacrifice, our debt of sin to pay.

 

Jesus is God’s only Son, sin’s final sacrifice.

Christ shed His blood on Calvary to pay sin’s awful price.

Turn from your sin, invite Christ in.  His blood is all you need.

For “If the Son shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”
